Taiwan is one of the most vulnerable countries of natural disasters in the world. Typhoons and earthquakes are very common in people’s life, therefore we reckon Taiwan is very experienced in post disaster relief. Furthermore, due to its mountainous geography, Taiwan has a population of indigenous people who reside in remote mountain areas, where the disasters are most severe. This year’s topic is resilience, therefore we think we have experience to share.
