Tearfund Restorative Economy and Movement Building
Three years ago Tearfund shared their Restorative Economy analysis, featuring an assessment of the world’s most urgent priorities (enduring poverty, declining sustainability and growing inequality) alongside a vision for systemic change, driven by grassroots social movements. This paper provides an overview of what has happened – and what we’ve learnt – over the intervening years. It is exciting to see how the ideas are being outworked in many countries with advocacy initiatives on key environmental issues starting to result in policy shifts.
